We are excited to offer sponsors the opportunity to get in front of the local government sector’s decision-makers at our major events each year.

Our Elected Member Professional Development Weekend provides valuable professional development and networking opportunity for members. It is an invaluable opportunity to present your business to the key decision makers of our sector in a more intimate environment. This event draws around 50 councillor and Mayors from across the state.

Day Sponsor - $4,000 excluding GST

This year LGAT will be hosting three specific policy events on sector priorities. These events will offer you the ability to engage with local government leaders on a policy area that is the focus of your business and to ensure your brand remains front of mind between our two signature events of the Member Weekend and Annual Conference. Each event will bring together around 50 sector leaders to discuss the opportunities and challenges across each of these key policy areas.

Lunch Sponsor - $5,000 excluding GST

  • Trade table to speak to attendees in the refreshment breaks from lunch onwards

The LGAT Annual Conference is the premier event for local government in Tasmania. It is a professional, contemporary event packed with a range of exciting plenaries, workshops, and symposiums. We invest in an inspiring program tailored to benefit the sector, and it is looked forward to with anticipation each year. In 2024 the event will run across two days on 4 and 5 September and will see around 200 key decision-makers come together including Mayors, councillors, general managers, CEO's and senior executives from Tasmanian councils. There is no other event in our state where the key local government decision-makers are present.

Conference Dinner - $8,500 excluding GST (SOLD)

Coffee Corner/Charge Bar - $7,000 excluding GST (SOLD)

  • Naming rights as the coffee corner, charge bar and digital partner of the event

  • 2 x complimentary tickets to attend the dinner
  • Naming rights to the WiFi - you will have the ability to select the name and password for WiFi that all guests will use.

Refreshment Sponsor - $4,000 excluding GST
