The LGAT Annual Conference is the premier event for local government in Tasmania. It is a professional, contemporary event packed with a range of exciting plenaries, workshops, and symposiums. We invest in an inspiring program tailored to benefit the sector, and it is looked forward to with anticipation each year. In 2026 the event will run across two days on 20 and 21 August at the Crowne Plaza in Hobart and will see around 150 key decision-makers come together including Mayors, councillors, general managers, CEO's and senior executives from Tasmanian councils. There is no other event in our state where the key local government decision-makers are present.
