It should be recognized that provision of water reticulation and sewerage services by Councils are integral to the economies of scale and efficiency of Local Government works operations. (GM 1995)
The State Government should establish a review body to determine priorities and funding in relation to waste-water issues for towns throughout Tasmania. (GM 2001)
