LGAT News is the Tasmanian Local Government sector magazine. Published quarterly, it reaches every local council elected member in Tasmania and is extensively distributed throughout Local Government reaching managers and specialist officers, as well as the Tasmanian State Government, Tasmanian community and non-profit groups, interstate Local Government associations and suppliers to Local Government.

LGAT prides itself on delivering an informative and relevant quarterly magazine to Tasmania's Local Government. In early 2006, LGAT News published Tasmania's first resource directory exclusive to Local Government. Submitting A Story

We welcome contributions from local councils, consultants and academics, state and federal agencies, professional and non-government organisations and suppliers to local government. Contributions must be relevant to local government.

Editorial Deadlines

LGAT News is published four times a year. The deadlines for the submission of editorial in 2009 are as follows:

• September 2009 issue - 10 August 2009
• December 2009 issue - 26 October 2009

Editorial Policy

Contributions must be relevant to Local Government and will be used at the discretion of the editor, in whole or part, or not at all, in the next scheduled issue or subsequent issues. The publishers do not pay for editorial submitted.

LGAT News does not accept advertorial for publication. Announcements regarding new products or services, however, may be considered newsworthy and you are encouraged to submit these items.
