The Local Government Division of State Government undertakes an annual Local Government data collection and has for some years published the "Measuring Council Performance inTasmania" Reports.
A new project, aiming to measure the sustainability of the Local Government Sector is underway.
The Local Government Association of Tasmania is represented on the Project Steering Committee.
