November is
Asbestos Awareness Month

Be alert to the dangers of working with asbestos during home renovations and maintenance. In Tasmania, every home built or renovated before the 1990's is likely to contain asbestos.
If undisturbed it does not general pose a health risk but renovations may lead to fibres being released into the air. When inhaled these fibres pose a high health risk.

Get to know Asbestos this November by visiting
www.asbestosawareness.com.au
to take the 20 Point Asbestos Safety Check.
